Scallops Dressed in Fresh Lemon Juice & Chili Flakes
We recently ordered a seafood box from Thrive Market and we have been enjoying it very much. These were probably the freshest scallops I have had in a long time. I made sure the scallops were dry on both sides, seasoned them with salt and pepper and seared them on medium high heat in a little butter and olive oil. One of the nice things about scallops is that when they are done cooking and you plate them, they begin to release their own delicious juices. I then sprinkled them with fresh lemon juice and a little chili flakes. Simple but delicious.
